When compare with the other RTW collection of John Galliano, this collection is obviouly pragmatic and it's completely different from his style of exaggeration. It seems that it's a kind of commerical duty for him.

Black and white is somehow the must have colour in Christian Dior's RTW. Other than that, John Galliano made this collection to extremly low value. Although there is several hues (green, violet, yellow and blue), as the value is similiar (low), the collection is still harmanic.
For this collection, I think the colour tone is based on the principle of familiarity. Also, as it's at a lower value and it suits the feeling of spring. So, this collection seem more pleasing and reality accepted.

As the majority of this collection are at low value, John Galliano adds a few pieces of red. these pieces are the contrast of colour, and makes it outstanding from the whole collection.
